Modular design
Huawei’s MA5683T is a modular optical line aggregation terminal that combines compactness and functionality to connect up to 12,000 subscribers via GPON technology. High density is achieved with the option to install six service cards, each with 8 to 16 ports. The modular design allows for seamless expansion of chassis capacity by installing new cards or replacing the 8-port cards with 16-port cards.
